Your privacy matters to us. Please read this policy to understand how we handle the personal data you share with us through our website.
1. Who we are
Summit Solutions ("Summit Solutions", "we", "us") is a healthcare technology company. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you visit summitsolutions.in, contact us, request a demo or register interest in one of our products. It is issued under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
2. Personal data we collect
Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number, organisation, the subject and message you write, and whether your enquiry is for sales or support.
Demo booking. Your name, email address, phone number, organisation, the product you are interested in, your preferred date and time, and any message you add.
Product interest. Your name, email address, phone number and the product you asked about, when you leave your details on a product page.
Technical data. The IP address from which a form is submitted, recorded with the submission. Website usage data collected automatically -- see "Local storage and analytics" below.
We do not ask for health information or payment details through the website, and we ask you not to send patient data through our forms.
3. How we use your data
- to respond to your enquiries and support requests;
- to schedule demos and send you confirmation emails;
- to follow up about the products you have shown interest in;
- to understand how the website is used and improve it;
- to keep the website secure and prevent spam and misuse;
- to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Consent and your choices
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form on the website, and where the law otherwise permits or requires it.
You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to [email protected]. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out. Without your contact details we may not be able to respond to an enquiry or arrange a demo.
5. Data in our software products
Our client institutions use our software to manage their own records, which may include patient and health information. We handle that data on behalf of and on the instructions of the institution, under our agreement with them. It is not covered by this policy; please contact the institution concerned about how it handles your data.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the website and respond to you:
- our team members who handle sales, demos and support;
- service providers who host our website and database and deliver our emails -- bound to use the data only on our instructions;
- authorities, where required by law or court order, or to protect someone from serious harm.
7. Local storage and analytics
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Our own analytics records the pages you view and the buttons you click, together with your IP address, browser type and an anonymous visitor identifier. That identifier is a random code stored in your browser's local storage so we can count returning visitors; it does not contain your name or contact details.
Our Contact page shows an embedded Google Map, which may set Google's own cookies under Google's privacy policy. You can clear local storage and block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website continues to work without them.
8. How we protect your data
Data is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to form submissions and analytics is restricted to authorised staff and protected by passwords. No system is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data we will act on it and notify you and the authorities as required by law.
9. How long we keep data
We keep enquiry, demo and product interest details for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business relationship, and website usage data for as long as needed to understand how the website is used. We then delete or anonymise it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by writing to [email protected].
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected and updated;
- have your data erased where it is no longer needed and the law does not require us to keep it;
- withdraw consent;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights in case of your death or incapacity;
- have your grievances addressed.
To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected] from the email address you gave us, so we can verify the request.
11. Children
This website is intended for healthcare institutions and professionals. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
